PROJECTS IN PROGRESS

  • Cleddau Catchment Assessment Project (C-CAP) – a major citizens science water testing initiative involving 90 volunteers over a 12-month period across the catchment. Analysis of the data generated written up in a report by Lancaster University (funded by Welsh Government) in March 2026. You can read it here:  C-CAP DATA REPORT 2026
  • RePhoKUs – commissioned by The Cleddau Project in association with West Wales Nutrient Management Board, this is a major new study by Lancaster University which scrutinises  the underlying causes of phosphorus pollution in the Cleddau catchment and identifies a practical route to recovery.   • My River – an on-going education & community programme delivering workshops & on-river activities to primary schools across Pembrokeshire.
  • Cleddau Curriculum – creation of a cross-curricular resource freely available to all schools in Pembrokeshire, including an illustrated map and key created by local artist, Fran Evans.
  • Report Pollution –  a user-friendly web page to log your water pollution reporting to National Resources Wales (and/or Dwr Cymru as appropriate) as a means of assessing the speed and quality of their responses.
